Hi, I’m Alex Tyler. I enjoy writing, and my clients appreciate that I put everything in writing—especially when it really counts. In an industry where so much happens by word of mouth, I believe clarity is key. Whether it’s getting a deal done or avoiding costly miscommunications, I make sure everyone’s on the same page. I’d love to be your go-to real estate agent for life. Here’s a little about my career and how I got here.

With over a decade of experience in real estate operations, compliance, and marketing. I first stepped into the industry in 2008 as an executive assistant for a husband-and-wife team. As departments were phased out, I took on increasing responsibility—especially in marketing and graphic design, where I discovered a real passion. After that brokerage closed, I pivoted into designing websites for agents, which opened the door to the tech side of real estate.

That curiosity eventually led me to serve in the military while earning a master’s degree in Technology Commercialization. I like to say I learned how to make things look good at ASU and how to make them profitable at UT Austin.

Since then, I’ve continued to grow professionally, serving as a Director for both Texas REALTORS® and MetroTex, which gave me a strong grasp of industry standards, regulatory needs, and leadership in a constantly evolving landscape.

I’m organized, proactive, and thrive in roles that support smooth, compliant operations. But above all, I bring a sense of humor to everything I do—because if you can’t laugh at yourself, how in the world are you going to laugh at anybody else?

Early in my real estate career, I found myself handling some of the most complex transactions—because let’s face it, the toughest deals often land in the hands of the new person. One client was relocating from Guam, so I recorded every home tour, edited the videos, and uploaded them to YouTube each evening so he could view them in his morning. We’d video chat at 6 AM my time to review options, and he ultimately closed on a home he loves—without ever seeing it in person.

In another case, I worked with a veteran using a VA loan to purchase a $1 million one-bedroom high-rise condo. The process was full of roadblocks, and at one point, we even had to request congressional support to move the approval forward. Despite the challenges, I got it done.
